Internships and Work Placements at Anglia Ruskin University

• Professional Work Placement: A short-term placement integrated into some Master’s courses, allowing students to gain hands-on industry experience.

• Placement Year:  An optional full-year industry placement during undergraduate study to gain in-depth workplace experience.
• ARU Temps Internships: Paid, flexible internships and on-campus roles that help students gain work experience while studying.

Exchange and Study Abroad Programmes

• International Exchange: Current students from partner universities can study at Anglia Ruskin University in the UK for one semester or a full academic year.
• European Exchange: Students from European partner universities can join ARU’s exchange programme and study on campus in Cambridge or Chelmsford for a trimester or a full academic year. 
• Study Abroad Programme: Students who have completed at least one year of study at their home university can apply to spend a semester or a full academic year studying at ARU.

The Anglia Ruskin Innovation Centre allopws student to work with industry leaders and contribute to leading research initiatives. It focuses on digital technology, innovation, and Industry 4.0. ARU researchers are studying subjects such as AI and physical systems for cybersecurity. The centre conducts research and development (R&D) projects to turn new ideas into practical solutions and help solve real-world problems across infrastructure, systems, and organisations. Research projects on sustainable manufacturing and GrowIn 4.0 are set to deliver notable results.
