Trinity College Dublin has one of the strongest ranking profiles in Ireland. It is ranked 75th globally in the QS World University Rankings 2026 and 173rd globally in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2026.

For students, the ranking is most useful when combined with course fit. Trinity can be especially attractive if the chosen subject matches one of its stronger areas, such as nursing, English, pharmacy and pharmacology, history, arts and humanities, medicine, law, business, engineering, computer science or social sciences.
